The Central Coast AirFest will fill the skies over Santa Maria with an amazing air show on September 21-22, featuring military demos, vintage warbirds, and breathtaking aerobatic performances.
Under the direction of the Planes of Fame Air Museum, the AirFest has become a signature event in the Santa Maria Valley. This museum, renowned for its public flight demonstrations and its participation in films like Top Gun: Maverick, is also developing a new campus at the Santa Maria Airport. This site will focus on educational programs centered on science, technology, engineering, and history (STEM) and is expected to open in 2025, bringing year-round tourism and educational opportunities to the region.
Romain Hugault designed the event poster and will showcase his work at his booth. This will be an opportunity for him to announce to the American public the release of his upcoming comic book about the legendary Tomcat.
